Notie (“the App”) is designed to help users capture and clarify their thoughts while respecting their privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use Notie.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Overview

Notie is a privacy-first application. The App does not require user accounts, does not track users, and does not collect personal information for advertising or analytics purposes.

All data created within the App is intended to remain under the user’s control.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Notie does not collect or store:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Account credentials (no account creation required)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Advertising identifiers
• Any data for marketing or profiling purposes

The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs or behavioral tracking technologies.

3. Voice Input and Speech Processing

When you choose to create voice notes, Notie uses Apple’s system-provided speech recognition and language processing APIs to convert spoken audio into text.

• Audio processing and speech recognition are handled entirely on-device by Apple’s system services
• Audio recordings are stored locally on your device for playback and trimming — they are never transmitted to any external server
• Speech processing behavior is governed by Apple’s platform privacy practices

Notie does not transmit or share voice recordings with any third party.

4. Apple Intelligence

Some features of the App rely on Apple Intelligence to perform on-device content processing.

• These features are only available on supported devices
• Processing is performed using Apple’s system frameworks
• Notie does not have access to the underlying models or system-level processing

Availability and behavior of Apple Intelligence features are subject to Apple’s platform requirements and settings.

5. Data Storage

All notes and content created in Notie are stored locally on the user’s device.

• No cloud synchronization is performed
• No external servers are used to store user data
• Data remains on the device unless explicitly deleted by the user

Users may delete individual notes or clear all app data at any time through the App’s settings.

6. Third-Party Services

Notie uses the following third-party service:

• RevenueCat — used solely for managing in-app subscriptions and verifying purchase entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device identifier and purchase history to process transactions. RevenueCat does not receive any voice recordings, transcripts, notes, or personal information. For details, see RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

The App also relies on Apple-provided system services (such as speech recognition and on-device intelligence). Any data handled by these services is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.

Notie does not share user-generated content (voice recordings, transcripts, or notes) with any third party.

7. Subscriptions & Purchases

Notie offers optional in-app subscriptions (“Notie Pro”) processed through Apple’s App Store.

• Payment is handled entirely by Apple — Notie never sees or stores your payment information
• An anonymous device identifier and purchase history are shared with RevenueCat to manage subscription status
• This data is not used for advertising, tracking, or profiling

8. User Control and Data Deletion

Users maintain full control over their data.

• Notes can be edited or deleted at any time
• All stored data can be permanently removed from the device via the App’s settings

Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

9. Children’s Privacy

Notie does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the App does not require accounts or collect personal data, no child-specific data is stored.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable regulations.

Any updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this document.
